This introductory pistol course focuses on handgun parts, operations and shooting fundamentals. As well as crucial firearms safety, best firearms practices, cleaning, maintenance, safe storage and range etiquette. An introduction to our Mechanics of Marksmanship™ program will be covered during the range portion. Send us an email, we'll be happy to help. *Required for this course: (1) Notebook and writing implement (1) Pistol (2) Magazines (1) Eye Protection (1) Set of hearing protection (electronic hearing protection strongly encouraged) (100rnds) FACTORY loaded ammunition in your pistol's caliber . Any specialty tools required for the maintenance of your pistol. ** Suggested for this course: Sunscreen Sturdy Belt Kydex/Polymer or Leather holster (Strong side(dominant hand) or appendix) Snacks and water Hat Field cleaning kit Clothes appropriate for changing weather ***Proper range attire is mandatory. Pants are suggested. No skirts, dresses or kilts. Long hair should be tied back and kept clear of the students face. Close toed shoes that offer good support (no sandals, crocs, high-heels, or similar styled shoes). V-necks and/or plunging neck line shirts should be avoided.
